Table Tennis Tips

A real low and short no-spin serve can give you some easy points in matches, as they are difficult to flip hard, and they require good timing to push hard. Mix it up with a heavy backspin in the same spot. Remember to get it short, the ball should bounce short on your side close to the net...

 Butterfly Primorac

It's African wood (Limba) allows the ball to stay on the racket longer providing good feel and control. A good all-around offensive blade. Compact head-size. BTY's best selling blade of 1995.

Speed: 75
Control: 78
Weight: 87
Ply: 5

Butterfly  Primorac review (collected from internet):
An outstanding blade, one of the best selling Butterfly blade ever. For developing players you can't wrong with this blade, and the quality is outstanding. If more speed is required a faster rubber can be used.

Comments: I have been stuck on this blade forever. I think the sweet spot is a good size. It allows for good touch and speed, but the feel seems to be nothing special. I want to try a similar blade with balsa wood. Balsa wood blades seem to have good feel. Liu Ping

Comments: nice blade...it has no particulary highlights but it has no weak point at all, very balanced between controll and speed, it's suitable for all the kind of playing. Lostboi

Comments: I bought the japanese version (with metallic plate at the handle), and it is great. My gameplay improved, i use the Nittaku Hammon Pro Alpha in 2mm on my backhand and with it i can block so easy ...! Maybe there is a better blade around, but havent found it yet. Amateur.

Comments: I love this blade. It's perhaps not so fast as a usual off- blade but fast enough for looping and chopping. I use long pimples on the backhand and it plays fine for years now. Pimple

Comments: Don't listen to people bashing this blade. Its is nice med speed but my complaint is the squareness of the handle. If you like that then great. Also the blade is a little too flexy. I felt like I was loosing some power on contact from off the table. Stiga Offensive Classic is stiffer and slightly harder. Dinus

Comments: I have a penhold version of the blade. If you are looking for a typical control, looping blade you can't ask for more. I agree with the previous post that if you are a hitter or a blocker look for something else. It can be relatively fast, though, with tensor rubbers on it, and still very controllable. Ideal blade for beginners and controlled players. YenneY

Comments: The handle is a little square and has somewhat of a finish on it. Some people might like that, some not. Thats why we have sandpaper. The blade is off- speed as advertized and also med feel. Great for people who want good control and feedback. Don't say its slow and give it a low rating. It wasn't designed to be super fast. Dinus
