Table Tennis Tips

A real low and short no-spin serve can give you some easy points in matches, as they are difficult to flip hard, and they require good timing to push hard. Mix it up with a heavy backspin in the same spot. Remember to get it short, the ball should bounce short on your side close to the net...

Dawei Navigator Blade - Hi-Res Picture

User Reviews (from internet/newsgroups):

Firstly, it is a heavy blade compared with the Banda. I tested it hitting a ball on it like you wrote, but it didn't mean a lot as I haven't tried it on other blades.

I did it again after putting the rubbers on and compared it with the Banda blade, the Banda felt like it was a lot faster and I thought I may have purchased the wrong blade.

I played about 15 sets with it, after getting use to the extra weight and getting some timing back I found the blade to be very fast, the ball was coming off the bat fast and hard, very impressed. But unlike other fast blades I had tried in the past you can still push/chop with control.

It doesn't suit my backhand at present due to the weight. But by the end of the night I was starting to adjust and some shots were coming off the pimples nicely. Another couple of weeks of playing and it should be ok. I am very happy with the blade. It was a good recommendation. I hope this helped with some feedback on the blade.    Anonymous...
