Table Tennis Tips

A real low and short no-spin serve can give you some easy points in matches, as they are difficult to flip hard, and they require good timing to push hard. Mix it up with a heavy backspin in the same spot. Remember to get it short, the ball should bounce short on your side close to the net...

 729 Bomb blade review:

Newby

The 729 Bomb similar to Yasaka Gatien Extra 3D a blade with tons of dwell time, great for spinny loops!

The Bomb has a bit more speed though.

Zoran

Seems to me the Bomb gets more speed out of the Chinese-type rubbers, while the Yasaka excells with Euro/Japanese type. But, definitely for the price the Bomb (and I recommend the flair handle because the anatomic is so narrow at the top that it allows the blade yoke to EAT YOUR HAND) is the better way to go.

Actually for off the table chopping (with a long pimpled rubber) the bomb is the best blade I have every used.

I've played a lot of guys who used the the 6030 and the  Bomb.  Consistently, the 6030 offered greater flat hit capability while the Bomb offered more spin and control.  When my loop was on, I demolished the 6030 hitters with my loop.  But when I was off, the 6030 dominated my control style.  When I moved to the Toxic 5 and 3 blades, the 6030 could not  compete,  while the Bomb could still handle the underspin. Get the Bomb.  You'll never look back -- unless you're a chopper. Gcollins

Excellent blade, much better than the 603O.  It provides a perfect balance of close to the table and distance play.  Put some Cream with MRS sponge on this and you're ready to go with a blade that will do everything.  Avoid the 6030.  Too fast.  Purely a hitter's blade.  The Instinct is good, but hard to see how it improves on the Bomb.  You'll have to spend $30 to $50 more to get a Jap/Euro product that will perform as well as the Bomb.
