Table Tennis Tips

A real low and short no-spin serve can give you some easy points in matches, as they are difficult to flip hard, and they require good timing to push hard. Mix it up with a heavy backspin in the same spot. Remember to get it short, the ball should bounce short on your side close to the net...

“It adopts macromolecule material and optimizes the pimples structure, which is improved with new manufacture technology. The performance of high elasticity and stickyness strengthens spin and speed while strengthening power far from table so that G888 can be suited for quick-attack with loop than before and mediate the contradiction of 'spin' and 'speed'.”

Characteristics:

  • High speed inverted rubber
  • ITTF/USATT/CTTA approved

  • Sponge Hardness: Medium Hard

Comments:

A newly designed powerful rubber specially made for handling the strongest topspins and delivering the fiercest blow. It’s a fast, very spinny rubber with good control. Suitable for fast attacking play based on topspin. Tacky surface. Easy to play loop against loop. Rather hard sponge. Zhang Yining was runner-up in Women singles in the World Championship 1999 with G888 2,1mm on the blade Double Happiness 032 blade.

Comments: Used the old 'national team version' of this rubber. So hard! But despite have the hardness of almost like a wood, it is still able to generate tons of spin, especially on serves. However, it lacked the springness of 729 Wang Nan.

Comments: best third-ball attack rubber I've played with yet. I have yet to try hurricane2. It offers decent looping, not quite as great as Wang Nan but smashing hitting serving and just really kicking butt it can do. It has all the capabilities in its sticky topsheet and it can still push and block and cut like the rest of them. Great for the developing penhold player

Comments: Very good rubber, but not for my style. Extremely spinny with a very hard sponge, wich make blocking awesomely easy, just put your racket in the right place and G888 will do all for you. It sounds very "chinese"

Comments: This rubber is rediculous. The most sticky topsheet i've ever witnessed combined with a very fast, offensive sponge. The stickiness of the topsheet reduces some of the speed, in my opinion, although this is a devistating weapon if used correctly. The feel is strictly chinese. Playing with it, I could generate copious amounts of spin with even a lazy stroke, and playing against it, I had to compensate for the increased amounts of spin coming at me. Truly a great sheet despite not being my style.
