Galaxy Yin-He T-1 blade
|
Galaxy (also known
as Yin-He) is a well-known Chinese company that has been producing table tennis
equipment over 20 years. They offer some very high quality hi-tech blades for
competition and professional players. Blades such as this one are of VERY good
quality, and offers excellent value for money.
Galaxy makes some
of the top Chinese blades, and it's a well-kept secret that they make (and
re-badge) some blades for non-Chinese companies as well.
This blade is
supposed to be a substitute for the Butterfly Schlager Carbon blade,
which is one of the most popular and fastest blades in the world! It’s a 3-ply
wood, 2-ply carbon, and it really looks VERY similar in construction to the
schlager blade. The outer layer and carbon layers are quite thin, but it has one
quite thick inner layers. This blade really feels BLASINGLY fast, and would no
doubt be rated near the top of the OFF+ scale!
Characteristics:
-
2-carbon, 3-plywood
-
offensive (fast)

Galaxy Yin-He T-1 blade
review |
This blade consists on 3
plies wood and 2 thin plies of carbon. The middle ply is the same material as
butterly schlager, primorac carbon, sardius and gergely21 middle ply but it is
thicker. The weight is approx about 85-90 gr.
I slapped on a SWORD
KING on my fh and cj8000 on my bh, this is what i found out about this blade.
Fast!!!!!. It is as fast as sardius, samsonov carbon or schlager. When you loop
with T-1 the ball tends to come off the bat quicker, less time for you to direct
the ball.
The
feeling that i got for this blade is similar to a balsa carbon, the crispy
kinda feeling instead of the softness
of sardius or the hardness of the schlager carbon. For short returns,it is abit
hard to get the right placement because the ball tends to bounce off quickly.
For pushing and
blocking, this blade is wonderful because you opponent will have less time to
react. The harder/faster they hit, the faster the ball comes back to them.
One
bad thing about this blade is that it could get damage easily as the two outer
plies are thin. When it hits the table, it gets damage easily. On the good side
is that where can you get a blade that is as good quality as butterfly, tibhar,
joola for less than half the price.
