Comments:

Hybrid the Euro style rubber with traditional Chinese rubber and you get the 40 series. They have a relatively sticky surface for the traditional Chinese compact loop, but also have the ability to generate tremendous mechanical spin to support Euro style loop. Very reactive rubber with Characteristics that support attack style play.  

Note this rubber is quite heavy and will add significant weight to your overall bat weight.

Comments: Wow what a diffierience!!!. Most Chinese rubbers imho are spinny but v.slow. Just got this topsheet and boy is it fast. The sheet is very hard which gives a nice clean click sound when hitting the ball. None of mushy feeling of other friendships (729-2 or 3). Rubber has the speed of tackfire special but with more spin. Easy for effortless blocking and easy fast BH loops. A fast chinese rubber at last!!! Rating: 10 

The 729-40H on a 2.2mm German sponge.  This has the spring of a Euro rubber, but the spin of a Chinese (not as sticky as Hurricane / older 729 series, though).  They strike an excellent compromise.

The 729-40H  is light, soft sponge makes it feel comfortable to play with, it's as sticky as the FX, so it's very good for spinny serves, good hitting and block, can put a lot of spin in top spin and push.

The 729-40S or the 729-40H have great speed and control and are very easy to loop. The German sponge is really good for looping and with a medium fast blade it would be a very good controllable offensive weapon.

However, what I would suggest for you would be one of the newer 729 variants - 729-3 on 2.2mm Japanese sponge or 729-40H on 2.2mm German sponge.  These will have the spring of a Euro rubber, but the spin of a Chinese (not as sticky as Hurricane / older 729 series, though).  They strike an excellent compromise.
